Summer will officially bid goodbye to us starting this week. As much as I don’t like to face the cold days, it is inevitable so I shall deal with it like I did in the past. It is just amazing to look back at the summer days when the weather wasn’t too cruel for us unlike in the past couple of years when there was a drought and a frequent raining causing severe flooding and some other awful circumstances like thunderstorms, and even tornado warnings. I still remember our first summer here in Central Wisconsin when the city weather center sirened to signal a tornado. It was a bad storm that I have experienced only once since living here in the US. When the storm was over, we saw few trees in the neighborhood that fell down; some damaged properties and electric posts. Tree cutting people had a lot of jobs that time.
Cleaning up and fixing what was left after a storm passed by is not a fun thing to do. Worse, when electric posts are one of those that got damaged. I have learned that his truck if full of tree climbing kits, tools, and gear which are all supplied by the company where he worked for. Their job is not only during the summer but during the winter, too, when blizzard and snow storms are causing those trees to fall down. That means even if summer is already leaving us, the coming season will still give those professional tree cutters some work.
