While I am into medical and healthcare courses, our current scholars are not. See, both of our scholars for this year are so different from me and my interest. No matter how much I tried to convince them to enroll in Nursing School as preparatory for a higher level of healthcare related courses, still, they insisted they prefer taking Education and Hotel and Restaurant Management degree. And, since I believe that success will be easier to achieve if they’re supported rather than forced, then we’ll just support them for as long as they need me and the husband.
Last year, our very first scholar graduated in Nursing School and has successfully passed the Nursing Board Exam. We were so lucky and blessed. For me and the husband, all those money that we have sent for her schooling needs were put into great use. That’s what I always remind our current scholars who are my nieces so that they’ll be inspired and motivated.
Right now, the HRM major is on a Hotel Tour and Visitation. Seeing the photos she uploaded over at Facebook makes me happy because I can see that she is happy with her chosen career.
