This post is one of those that I have made when I am at my proudest moment. And I have to make a post for this, because personally, it is worth documenting! Yesterday’s mails included a box from the ProQuest Publishing which has three hard copy books of the husband’s Dissertation Paper. Although not mine (LOL), I felt so wonderful when I got to hold it for the first time. It’s been almost four years when he marched that graduation stage in the Red Bird Arena at Illinois State University (December 2010) but it is just now that we finally got to physically see and hold the fruit of all his hard works, sweats, sacrifices, and many sleepless nights during those last two years of Ph.D. Program when he was doing this research study.

I felt so fulfilled and proud altogether as a wife because I know that this material is a product of a passionate labor of somebody I personally know and love. Hard-bound printed copies of this dissertation book are now available at the Mathematics Department Library of ISU, while anybody interested can order for a copy or more at ProQuest Publishing.
A research study so relevant and valuable in the Mathematics Curriculum, this study will be helpful for any Mathematics educators. The husband has already shared the findings of this research to several Math conferences and gatherings in the Midwest and it has so far garnered applauses and commendations. Hopefully, it can be of help to improve the Math curriculum and instruction in the country and in the world, eventually.
The sweetest part of this book for me? No less than the mention of yours truly’s name in the Acknowledgment’s section. He he! Funny how he edited it to include little Tiara’s name even if she wasn’t born yet when this study was done and approved.
It was truly a tough stage of the husband’s Ph.D. journey, but looking back, we can altogether smile and be grateful for that wonderful stage he has accomplished and I had supported. To God be the glory!
