On June 2 and 3 of this year, Philippine time, the Philippine Regulatory Commission (PRC) has mandated the scheduled Nursing Licensure Exam (NLE). That’s today and tomorrow my time and this exam is very significant to me and my husband because one of the takers are our wannabe Registered Nurse, our very own scholar– the husband’s niece, Yen-yen. I have shared about her in this post and for those who didn’t know, Yen is our first scholar to graduate. She marched last March, took a review for 6 weeks, and is now conquering one of the biggest, if not The biggest test of her life: the board exam.
Yen-yen, our first scholar
Another soul who is aiming to become a RN is also my husband’s second-degree niece, the ever pretty, sweet, and smart Rosse. I know how hard she worked for this degree and I know how supportive her parents are. I sure hope she can make it, too, and get that RN title.
Get that RN title, Rosse!
I have prayed for these two souls and all others who are on the same plight. I know how intense this test is, even though I haven’t taken it yet. I wish them all the best and God’s wisdom. I am sure they have prepared well for this battle, may God will grant them the desires of their hearts.
Such a bittersweet moment. Had my dream of going back to Nursing School four years ago in Philippines was materialized, I would have been one of them right now. Oh well, mine may not have come yet, but I am not losing hope. I still dream of becoming one when I turn 40 or before that. Keep dreaming, Recel! Lol.
