This is the daughter’s second year in piano lesson. We don’t have the best piano here at home that she can use to practice and play and we don’t have the yamaha p45 either but what we have, for now, is enough for her to not miss practicing to enhance and develop her skills and her learning. We have an old piano, sort of like a hand-me-down from an tenderly couple who retired and moved somewhere. We paid for it though but not as expensive as a brand new one so you can imagine the quality that we are getting. Hopefully, when budget permits, we will be able to get something much more grand and so much better for our aspiring pianist.
Meanwhile, her Christmas recital is coming up and so that is something I look forward to seeing. It is always worth watching, as it is a fruit of something we all worked hard for– the daughter in learning and us parents in paying for the lesson. And of course, it will show how good her teacher is in teaching her. Brand new piano or not, it doesn’t really matter if all of those people I have just mentioned worked together towards the success of the learner.
