I have always wished to have kids who can play at least one musical instrument. I don’t care if it is the sjc snare or the bass, the flute or the trumpet, the guitar or the violin, or the piano. I figured they will be the one to accomplish what I haven’t which is to become a pianist.
Sure enough, the husband and I will try to do our best to make them learn to play any musical instruments. This past couple of months, we finally have our own piano for our girls to practice on.
It is not the best piano that we could get but as a start, this is good enough. We got this for less than 500 bucks from a couple friend who were getting rid of their stuff as they return to Philippines for good as part of their retirement plan. I thought how nice it would be to preserve this precious piano that’s well taken cared of by the owner so we got it. I can finally enroll Triz to a piano lesson when school starts in August.
I am starting to feel fulfilled as a dreamer now that my daughters show their aspirations to be pianists themselves. Thank God for dreams and hard works!
